Optical FireWire Repeater

• The Optical FireWire Repeater (M4-100) in use of a pair of two, each at both ends interfaces thru optical fibers provides a long distance IEEE n1394 interconnection over the limits of copper wire extension, 4.5 meters (15feet) without any distribution amplifiers or repeaters.
• Any IEEE 1394 device or controller at each end in general interfaces to a M4-100 by 1394 copper cables and between two M3-100s by a duplex LC terminated fiber-optic cable.
• The connection of fiber-optic cables could extend 1394 data up to 500m (1640 feet). When applied to IEEE 1394 devices or systems, which have powers.
  The M4-100s are not required to supply DC powers separately.
• A 12 DC power adapter will be included in a shipping group
